The four brilliant and youthful talents of the internationally renowned Credo Quartet will be giving a premiere tour in Oxford. Awarded the Gold Medal at the Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition in Easton (USA, 2008) and many other prestigious prizes, it claims to be the very best Piano Quartet in Russia.

Programme:

Frank Bridge -- Fantasy Quartet
Pavel Karmanov -- Christmas Music for Piano Quartet *World Premier*
Chris Willis -- Aero Theatre *World Premier*
Christopher Willis is one of the most famous young British composers, currently making film-music in Hollywood. The title is taken from a well-known 1940s Los Angeles cinema, leading the listener into the adventurous world of Early American Cinematography.
Pavel Karmanov, meanwhile, is the most well-known Russian composer today; he presents a new Christmas composition that is dedicated to the 800th Anniversary of the University of Cambridge.
